PLV is the voice of Victorian public libraries and represents all 47 library services in the state.

The Executive Committee is responsible for the management of the Association. It comprises a President, a Vice-President, a Secretary, a Treasurer and five ordinary members. 

Public Libraries Victoria has entered into a number of partnerships and collaborations, both formal and informal, which are of strategic and operational importance to Victoria’s public library sector.  These relationships assist PLV in its advocacy and information roles, as well as enhancing service delivery in libraries.

PLV has entered into agreements with a number of library vendors for mutually beneficial outcomes.
